  41. Double click on the 'Setup.exe' file.
  42. Follow the on screen instructions to install the game to your hard drive.
  43. After you have installed the game, a new window will appear instructing you to 
  44. configure your keyboard, sound, joystick and graphics accelerator card. 
  45. Once you have configured everything click on 'save setup' and then again on 'play'.

  98. 4. Playing the game

  100. Combat
  101.  
  102. Holding down the Ctrl key puts you into a combat stance.  You can now use the 
  103. arrow keys to carry out different attack moves.  If you hold down the shift key
  104. as well you will have access to even more attack moves. If you want to block an 
  105. attack from an enemy hold down Ctrl and press the down arrow, to quickly do a 
  106. return attack after a block keep holding the Ctrl key down and press the up arrow
  107. quickly. For quick ranged attack you can throw spike-balls by pressing 1 
  108. (on the Numpad). For a more accurate ranged attack you can use the crossbow. 
  109. Change to this mode by pressing the right mouse button or Q.  In this mode 
  110. you can aim using the mouse or the keyboard, A for up Z for down and the left
  111. and right arrows for turning. To fire an arrow press the left mouse button or
  112. Ctrl, and to select an arrow press 1 - 5.

  114. Jumping and Climbing
  115.  
  116. To jump straight up press Alt.  If you want to jump forward press Alt and the 
  117. up arrow at the same time. To do a running jump you need to start running and 
  118. then press Alt. If you want to make a jump over a large pit the best thing to 
  119. do is to walk (hold down shift with a direction key) right up the edge and take 
  120. several steps backwards and then run and hit Alt just as you reach the edge. 
  121. To grab on to a ledge while jumping hold down the space bar.  Keep the space 
  122. bar held down to hang on and then press the up arrow to climb up or the left 
  123. and right arrows to move along. While hanging on to a rope you don't need to 
  124. keep the space bar held down. To jump off a rope you need to rotate so your 
  125. shoulders are facing the direction you want to jump.  Hold down Alt and then 
  126. press either the right or left arrow key. To climb up a small platform or ledge
  127. press the space bar and up arrow.

  129. The Action Key

  131. The Space bar allows you to activate switches and levers, open doors, pick up 
  132. or give objects, mix potions, interact with things and grab on to edges.

  134. Camera
  135.  
  136. You can use the mouse to rotate and tilt the camera around Asghan. To reset
  137. the camera back to the normal angle press 0 on the Number pad. To make Asghan
  138. look around Hold down 0 on the Number pad and press the up, down, left and 
  139. right controls.
